Why Base 10?
Humans probably count in tens because we have ten fingers.
10 ones = 1 ten
This is the structure of Base 10.

Computers Use Base 2
Computers only understand OFF and ON.

Alien Numbers
If aliens had three fingers, they might count in Base 3.

Different bases use different grouping rules.
